At Caffe Bene

Having a rest here after walking around aimlessly for 15 mins! We have yet to discover the fun of Apgujeong... Ordered a cup of iced Americano but I think I prefer the 'Angel in us coffee' which I had in this morning.

Transit at HKIA

I was surprised to see Tsui Wah here!  The airport was very quiet when we landed at around 5.30am.  Wandered around for a while till we finally decided to have a light meal at Tsui Wah. To my dismay, no one attended to me though there was a staff standing right in front of me. I therefore asked her about the business hours which she replied operation starts from 6am. She carried on with her work after replying me. I looked at my cellphone and asked "isn't it 6am now?". She then said "2 mins later" and repeated her words for once.  Omg! Luckily I still have more than 6 months to prepare myself emotionally for the local service standard. Yes, I have booked a visit to HK in Apr 12!

Blah experience

We woke up in the late afternoon and sis wanted to check out the Massimo Dutti sale (final reduction) at Liat Tower. We left the stores (Zara also) empty-handed. I suggested to spend our lunch at the much raved about California Pizza Kitchen after a quick glance over the reviews from Hungrygowhere.

We ordered a thin crusted Peking Duck pizza ($20.90 plus $1.50 for the think crust). The service was slow and the staff was not attentive. I noted some comments about the poor service standard and hence i could not complain as I still chose to be here. Yet, my appetite was absolutely gone after i found a strand of hair stucked inside the pizza. Sis suggested me to continue eating by removing the hair as we were too hungry. I agreed and soon changed my mind to inform the waitress because the hair is simply too long for me to ignore!!!

The staff could not react (probably this could be the 1st time such incident happpened) and suggested to replace "that 1 piece". We agreed. She then proposed to replace the entire pizza (we have not touched the pizza yet albeit we were very hungry). I was pissed and told her that she must confirm her action now!

The pizza was served to us after 10 mins. It is rather rare to have Peking Duck Pizza and hence i was rather impressed after i had the first bite. However, i have to retract my high opinion after the 2nd pc because the taste was too heavy. We made payment without ordering the pasta as we intended, initially.

We should have walked a little further for the traditional Itallian wood-fired pizza!

Blogging thru' Iphone

This gadget is absolutely amazing! I should have bought it earlier! It helps to fill my time, e.g lotz of learning applications on top of the vast varieties of entertaining specs. Too bad coz its battery life is darn short and a charger is needed regardless how light is your usage. I have never purchased any spare battery or charger for previous phones. Yet I 'm more than willing to but one now.

I have bought two data cables (from Ebay and still waiting for the seller to send me the items) and one charger, to-date.
